Are you an OPTIMIST?

Positive thinking is a lot more than blind faith and it's awesome. Optimist in almost every aspect of life, often achieving more and enjoying greater social success. As far as I know, optimist people are also less susceptible to depression and physical ills.

STRING OF MY HEART

I've always thought it meant that the person whose heart is on the string was desperately in love. "You've got my heart on a string. My heart is your toy to play with, like a child plays with a yo-yo. No matter how badly you treat me, I'll still love you."

Family Ties

We expect ties with our with our immediate family, and to a lesser extent with our skin, to extend throughout the lifetimes of the people involved. This expectation is by no means always fulfilled, as a rising annulment rates and family break-ups indicate. Nevertheless, we still theoretically marry "until death do us part" and the social ideal is a lifetime relationship. Whether this is a proper or a realistic expectation in a society of high transience is debatable. The fact remains, however, that family links are expected to be long term, if not lifelong, and considerable guilt attaches to the person who breaks off such a relationship.

What my name means...

Ruel Sagred

There are 10 letters in your name.
Those 10 letters total to 47
There are 4 vowels and 6 consonants in your name.

Your number is: 11
The characteristics of #11 are: High spiritual plane, intuitive, illumination, idealist, a dreamer.

The expression or destiny for #11:
Your Expression number is 11. The number 11 is the first of the master numbers. It is associated with idealistic concepts and rather spiritual issues. Accordingly, it is a number with potentials that are somewhat more difficult to live up to. You have the capacity to be inspirational, and the ability to lead merely by your own example. An inborn inner strength and awareness can make you an excellent teacher, social worker, philosopher, or advisor. No matter what area of work you pursue, you are very aware and sensitive to the highest sense of your environment. Your intuition is very strong; in fact, many psychic people and those involved in occult studies have the number 11 expression. You possess a good mind with keen analytical ability. Because of this you can probably succeed in most lines of work, however, you will do better and be happier outside of the business world. Oddly enough, even here you generally succeed, owing to your often original and unusual approach. Nonetheless, you are more content working with your ideals, rather than dollars and cents.

The positive aspect of the number 11 expression is an always idealistic attitude. Your thinking is long term, and you are able to grasp the far-reaching effects of actions and plans. You are disappointed by the shortsighted views of many of your contemporaries. You are deeply concerned and supportive of art, music, or of beauty in any form.
The negative attitudes associated with the number 11 expression include a continuous sense of nervous tension; you may be too sensitive and temperamental. You tend to dream a lot and may be more of a dreamer than a doer. Fantasy and reality sometimes become intermingled and you are sometimes very impractical. You tend to want to spread the illumination of your knowledge to others irrespective of their desire or need.

Your Soul Urge number is: 5
A Soul Urge number of 5 means:
The 5 soul urge or motivation would like to follow a life of freedom, excitement, adventure and unexpected happening. The idea of travel and freedom to roam intrigues you. You are very much the adventurer at heart. Not particularly concerned about your future or about getting ahead, you can seem superficial and unmotivated.

In a positive sense, the energies of the number 5 make you very adaptable and versatile. You have a natural resourcefulness and enthusiasm that may mark you as a progressive with a good mind and active imagination. You seem to have a natural inclination to be a pace-setter. You are attracted to the unusual and the fast paced.
You may be overly restless and impatient at times. You may dislike the routine work that you are engaged in, and tend to jump from activity to activity, without ever finishing anything. You may have difficulty with responsibility. You don't want to be tied down to a relationship, and it may be hard to commit to one person.
Your Inner Dream number is: 6

An Inner Dream number of 6 means:
You dream of guiding and fostering the perfect family in the perfect home. You crave the devotion from offspring and a loving spouse. You picture yourself in the center of a successful domestic unit.

Dating

In many lands dating is viewed as a means of romantic entertainment, a fun activity. Dating thus takes many forms. For some, a date is a formal, structured affair---flowers, a lovely dinner, and a good-night kiss are all part of the agenda. For others, a date simply means spending some time together with someone you like of the opposite sex. There are even couples who are constantly seen together but who claim to be "just friends". Well, whether you call it dating, going together, or just seeing each other, it usually amounts to the same thing: a boy and a girl spending a lot of time together socially, often unsurprised.

How important are looks?

You say you don't like the way you look? Well, few of us, if any----are entirely satisfied with our appearance. Unlike Narcissus who fell in love with his reflection in a pool of water, some of us nearly fall into depression when we see our reflection

Does Anyone Really Care?

Have you ever feel alone and helpless, as if no one really understood the problems you were facing? And even if they knew about them, you felt that they did not really care.

When problems arise, our life can seem like a storm that will not let up. At times, we might even conclude that what we are experiencing is so devastating and so unjust that we simply cannot bear it any longer. That is often the case when we suffer from emotional traumas, depression, debilitating, accidents, chronic diseases, or something similar. We may feel so helpless and hopeless that we wonder where we can turn for comfort.

Life

We live our life differently everyday.  We breath to live. We make unique choices in life to make it better for we are human. Life is a gift to those who are chosen. It makes us explore the world with smiles and happiness. What is life anyway? Do you consider life is joy?

For me, yes! I treat life as a treasure and a gift, not to be wasted, just like time is gold. Yet, life is coupled with problems, pains, and sorrows. We must be hurt in order to gain. Because some lessons in life are best learned through pain.

Live your life to the fullest and make it happy as you possibly can!

Just keep on doing and praying...

Life is the greatest gift of mine
Look how God is powerful, divine
For us, life is nothing
But, for Him, it is great and everything.

Within His gracious love
We can praise Him above
Free to dance, praising like a dove
No one can replace Him here in my heart.

"Cast your burdens upon me those who are heavenly-laden"
Take the Lord and we'll be enlightened
He will do the rest
If we'll do our very best.

Life is very certain
We don't know where, when will be the end
But just keep on doing and praying
That we will live with Him.

Nobody's Perfect

Some expected me to be perfect but I’m not, for nobody is. I have my mistakes, weaknesses, and fear but I’m contented of whatever of life I have and it doesn’t matter where I came from, my title or family name, it’s always dignity as a person that count. Others may see me as a stone not a person and I don’t give a damn. I know who I am, how I care for people I love, what I think and what I feel, me, myself, and I, not perfect but just the way I want it.

A Good Student is...

Life is difficult choice. Everyday we make many choices – what to wear, to eat or not to eat breakfast, to take or not to take a bath, to go school early or to late, to participate or just wait for the bell to ring. These are just some of the things we have to make decisions on.

Students today are too lazy to make this important decision. They are apathetic, and simply too bored with their lives that they don’t see any point in working hard and getting good grades. Although, there are exceptions! Some students see meaning in their future and want to improve their lives by learning more everyday. They are the good students.

NORSU CSIT TOUR

It was a remarkable experienced I had last August 26 – 27, 2010. We had our educational tour to Cebu, the Queen City of the South as requirement for our major subject which is Seminars and Fieldtrip. Before the day of our educational tour, I did a lot of preparation due to excitement. Last August 26, 2010 we depart from Dumaguete at 12:00 am. We landed from Cebu at 8:00 in the morning and we directly go to our assigned tour bus with Kuya Paul as our tour guide. We had our breakfast at Sugbahan Restaurant and after eating, we directly start our seminar with the DOST Representative. He discussed to us about the Internet Protocol Version 6.
IPV6 is the new version of the Internet address protocol that has been developed to supplement. It also implements new features that simplify aspects of address assignment when changing Internet connectivity providers. IPV6 has more address space unlike IPV4. IPV4 can only hold 4 billion addresses whereas IPV6 has an unthinkable theoretical maximum of 340,000 trillion addresses. IPV6 was a fascinating topic because years will past, IP addresses possibly be decreased due to growing population and IPV6 is the solution though it is not yet implemented.
After listening with, we go back to the bus going Montebello Villa Hotel to relax and prepare to the next activity. A couple of minute past, we had our lunch at Family Choice (eat all you can) with the President, Dr. Henrey A. Sojor. After the endless lunch we go directly to CITOM (Cebu City Traffic Operation Mangement) Company which makes me interested about their job. Also we go to SMART Company; I gain information there about why our loads are being stolen. It’s because of logging, you should remember that when you don’t have a load don’t take for granted that you can still text. When you load again your phone the SMART Company will deduct your load on how many times you attempt to text without a load.
Two company down in one day. Since we have a short time, we go to AYALA Mall to shop and buy some “pasalubongs”. After the short shopping because we are given 1 hour, we go back to Montebello Villa Hotel to enjoy the night on swimming. We really enjoy the night bonding each other though not all of us are swimming. We took some photos to as evidence that we really enjoy our trip.
It’s already 5:30 in the morning on August 27, 2010 and we are preparing to the next visitation of company. Though, we are so stressed but still we have to do it. Good bye Montebello! We had our breakfast again in the Sugbahan Restaurant with the vendors of Utap for pasalubong fetching us. After eating our breakfast we go to Taoist Temple for just 15 minutes because we are running out of time. We took some pictures there and we really enjoy the view of the Taoist.  Taoist Temple is one of the Tourist spot in Cebu. According to kuya Paul our official tour guide, Taoist Temple begin with the dream of the Chinese. In his dream, his god said that he want a temple. He want to build a temple, then this Chinese man ignore it but when he begun to sleep he also begun to dream same dream the his god want to build him a temple. So to make the long story short, this Chinese man build the temple and it was called the Taoist Temple. They were so strict with capturing photos in front to their god.
It’s so nice to be with Kuya Paul because he really wants us to know every historical background of Cebu. Every barangay, he discussed it even streets why those streets are called like that, like that….. Since we are running out of time we go immediately to IT Park where DASH Engineering Company is located. I was astonished with their office because all people there are hardworking and they easy to approach. With the encouraging words given with the company, I was challenge to work there, but their company is not recruiting with the IT students because mostly of their work are engineering type. I really love their presentation especially in designing. I was also amazed with their 200 license software’s, while waiting with Mario our official bus driver. We discussed with our classmate about the DASH Company and also there are many big buildings that we have seen there.

Another Company that we’ve visited was the Bigfoot Entertainment Company. Bigfoot is a fully integrated entertainment company specializing in production, production services and film training. Bigfoot is an international entertainment company producing independent films for the global marketplace. With the beautiful lady, she tours us room by room of the production. The first room that we’ve entered is the room where you can make sounds. Everything is there; they are so creative and talented. The second was the room for dubbing and third are the rooms for photo and video editing. There so many places that we see there but the best was there semi theater room. The lady slides some of their movie trailers and it was so superb. After viewing the awesome trailers that they’ve made we had a picture taking and then we go back to the bus to have a lunch to SUTOKIL (Sugba Tuwa Kilaw) at NO PROBLEM.

At “No Problem”, they’re so many foods there but drinks are limited, but it just ok. Since Lapu lapu Shrine is near, we have a visitation on it. I hesitantly ask some question about the battle of Mactan. Kuya Paul answers all my questions and we had a pictorial where Magellan was died.

Stream Global Services was the third Company that we’ve visited at IT Park. As far as I know Stream Global Services is a premium business process outsourcing (BPO) provider of sales, customer care and technical support services. They occupy 3 floors from i2 building in IT Park. Before they tour us to their rooms where the call agents wor,k we had a short question and answer portion about their company. Minutes past, we see their entire company and its do good to know that they have a semi clinic room and resting area for those who cannot go home because they will finish their job at 3 o ‘clock in the morning. They have also rooms for their personal lockers and training rooms to train their new staffers. Yes! It was excellent to know that IT students can really work there as technician or a call agents it depends what he/she wants. They also accept On Job Training (OJT) in their company.

IT Park is marvelous; you see their all computer allied business. There are so many other companies that we’ve not visited because we have very short time. For the finally of our tour we go to SM Mall to enjoy the remaining time for just 1 hour again. We bought some “pasalubongs” and some souvenirs.

Yes! That was the end of our tour in Cebu. That tour will never be erased in my mind. We go to Cebu not just to learn from our field but also to bond with each other. Until now I still remember that event in our daily lives. I know that someday we can work there and I am very proud that I am a NORSUNIAN.

Trailer til I Am Number Four!
